School Zone
Marina View School has an Enrolment Scheme to give the Board of Trustees a set of criteria to apply when receiving requests for enrolment, and to fulfil the requirements of the Education Act, 1989. (See below for more information about the zone.)
We also have a number of places for out of zone students and these places are decided by an Out of Zone Ballot which is held in September and May of each year. The number of places available will vary from year to year. Please contact the school office on 416 7524 for more information about the Out of Zone ballot.
Children living within the catchment zone are entitled to attend Marina View School as of right. The zone is deemed to be those streets bounded by Luckens Road, Hobsonville Road (119 - 233 inclusive) and Marina View Drive.
