Welcome to Term 2

Welcome to Term 2.  We have made a flying start and the children are really excited about our topic 'Let's Experiment'.  Lots of wonderful ideas have been coming forward regarding experiments to do in class.  We will begin with having a go at a variety of experiments and forming questions along the way.  Later the children will get to do a more indepth experiment to explore any special question/s that they were wondering about.

I welcome children's experiments. They love being able to show the other children the amazing things they have been learning about at home.

Writing this term begins with explanation writing, fitting in nicely with our experimentation.

Reading has a 'finding the main point or idea' focus at present.

In Maths we begin with Multiplicaton and Division.

We are ready for a full and exciting term with, hopefully,not too much rain.
