Welcome to Room 12,  2010

We are looking forward to a busy and fun term with lots of learning taking place over a range of curriculum areas.

Our inquiry this term revolves around charities and how they get their message across to the community so as to raise funds. We hope to have several societies visit to share with us their ways of communicating their message.  If anyone is involved in a charity and would like to contriute to our lessons, please come and speak to me or email me.  We would love to hear from you.

Homework will be given out to the children on a Monday and must be brought to school on a Friday for marking. Try to get a balance of allowing them to be independent but being available to assist where needed. They have a reading log to be filled in each day. Must days the children will be sent home with a book.  On days when this does not happen then they are to read their library book or a book around home. Thank you for your support here.

Library day is Wednesday so please ensure that their library books are returned by the Wednesday. Again thank you.
