Term 2 Week 11
Room 21’s Week 11 Wrap Up
What an exciting week in Reading this week. We have been learning to present a play dramatically and all the reading groups have done a wonderful job performing their plays. We read through the plays and then decided who would be best for each part. Then we spent 2 days practising them to present to our class on Thursday. Well done everyone. I really enjoyed watching you work together and perform some wonderfully read and acted plays. It was lots of fun! Please have a look at the photos below of our famous room 21 actors and actresses.
Over the past few weeks in Maths, we have been learning how to carry out statistical investigations. This week we collected our information (the highlight of the whole project for the children I think), collate the information gathered, analyse it and make conclusions. The children asked some really interesting questions and from the buzz around the room during our Maths lessons this week, I can tell they all really enjoyed it!
Our homework sheet this week is a bit of an early bird special. For those children interested in getting a head start on their speech for term 3, the homework sheet has some excellent tips and ideas on how to present a unique and interesting speech. I am really looking forward to hearing everyone’s speeches in week 2 of term 3 as well as the fun, impromptu speeches in week 1. Good luck team!
How did you get on with last week’s online wordle? The answer was ’There is more to come (as in the m and the e of the word come still needed to be written).
So, how about this one to keep you guessing over the holidays...

This could be another tricky one I think.... Good luck!
Thanks so much for another amazing term room 21. I feel so lucky to get up in the morning and come to a job that I totally love. You are the main reason why I love teaching so much. I hope you enjoy your well deserved holiday. Have fun, take care and be safe. I’m looking forward to another exciting term with you all in a few weeks!
Until next term,
