Mrs Annan's Blog

Farewell from Mrs Annan

4:18p.m., 30 June 2010

Well, after five years teaching at Marina View School, it is time to say goodbye. I have had such an amazing experience teaching all the students that have stepped foot into my classrooms, and hope that they took with them, valuable learning.

I want to thank all the staff, students and parents, for making my teaching career so memorable thus far. From the school camps in Taupo, Carey Park and Totara Springs, to the Talent Quests and Graduations.

I have been lucky enough to have all of you amazing people in my life and I have memories that I will treasure forever.

Think Science

4:25p.m., 27 April 2010

Scientists and kids have something in common: they both wonder why. And they both try and figure things out.

What have you ever wondered about? Post a blog telling me about it and whether you managed to figure it out.

Everyone can be heard

12:02p.m., 3 February 2010

I think everyone has a powerful voice that can be heard. Sometimes we just don't realise this and sometimes we are a bit shy to speak up. I think that we need to speak up and tell people what is important to us. - Mr Y

Speak Up

How can you make your voice be heard? How do your actions reflect what you say? What individuals have influenced their communities through their actions and words?
