Welcome to Room 8
This is my fifth year at Marina View in the Junior area. I am thoroughly enjoying working here and I am looking forward to helping you and your child settle into Year 2. If you have any concerns or questions, I am more than happy to answer them. You may need to make an appointment, if it is something that requires more than just a few minutes.One of my first priorities is to ensure that your child is happy, secure and relaxed in our school environment, as this will enable them to learn successfully at their own level.I have loved my first days with the children. They are all very friendly and responsive and keen to learn. I am sure we will have a wonderful year together.Our library time is on Fridays.This term we are focussing on becoming better learners and at the ways people communicate. We will be looking at our school community, our own communities and then communicating with other schools in our global community. If you have any ties with friends and families we would appreciate you letting us know.We are currently training for Athletics Day which will be on Friday morning the 5th March.We will be having Goal Setting Meetings Thursday 11th March.I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child.
