Term 2 Week 2

8:38a.m., 1 May 2012

Hi Everyone!

We have had a good first week.

Over the next few weeks there will be lots of testing going on. I will also be writing your reports!

This week in ICT we started KnowledgeNET. This is a cool website that we can post your work on, have discussions in the forums section. Create polls and so much more!

I have started a forum- asking you what you would like to use KnowledgeNET for, your parents will be getting a login and will be able to check up on all of your learning. So what would you like to show your parents? Make a comment in the forum.

Don't forget to update your profile and vote on our poll!

The website is:

Below is your homework sheet attached.

Looking forward to getting into Science this term! Maybe we can put pictures of all your work in your inquiry group?

Have a great week!

Learning areas

3:29p.m., 2 March 2012

What an awesome week! You guys have done some fantastic work. First we had an awesome trip to Summerland on Tuesday, since then you have created some amazing ideas for learning areas!

Don't forget we are setting up a Science learning area, as well as a Language learning area. If you have anything interesting that you would like to bring in for these areas next week, that would be fantastic!

I'm pretty sure our class is going to have the best layout and learning areas in the school! Keep thinking about how you want the tables and desks set up- what environment will help you learn?
