Week 10

Room 11’s Weekly Update Week 10

Term 2 has been a wonderful adventure for the children in room 11.  We have thoroughly enjoyed being Entomologists and studying a wide variety of insects.  Our heads and our books are full to the brim with amazing facts!

Our assembly was obviously a highlight last week and I would love to take the opportunity to thank all the children again for making it such a success and to all the parent, grandparents and caregivers that could make it to support us.  It was lovely to share this special time with you all.

Our Art this term has had an insect focus.  This week we started the exciting process of cutting our templates out in corrugated card and painting them.  Below are a few pictures of some of the insects we have painted.  Next term we will finish painting all the insects and glue them together and pop them on a background.  They will look amazing I am sure!

Thanks again for a wonderful term room 11.  You are a very special class and it is always a pleasure to see your smiling faces each day.  I wish you and your family a wonderfully, happy holiday.  We will see you back, bright and bouncy, for term 3, on Monday 16th July.

Well, that’s all for now.

Until then,

Stay cool ‘till after school!
