Welcome to Room 4.
Term 4 has come upon us very quickly, before we know it, it will be Christmas again! I have really enjoyed the children in Room 4. They have been great learners and shown very good progress throughout the year.
This term we will be concentrating on our integrated topic - ‘Hamburger Heaven’. We will be learning to develop ideas, to create a product and market it. It is also about choosing healthy choices about the food we eat. This is all going to be centred around a hamburger. We will be working in groups to make the most delicious and nutritious hamburger. We will do a survey to find the preferences people have for ingredients. When the groups are happy with their hamburgers, they will create an advertisement to promote the success of their product. If your child has any allergies or doesn’t eat meat, please discuss it with your classroom teacher. Hamburgers will be sold on Family Night, as a PTA fundraiser.
