 The children had an extremely exciting time learning about the different Science concepts. Children in Room 6 carried out experiments on Nature, where they grew their own bean plants in little pots and took it home, later to plant in their gardens. Hope they survived the winter. We also planted potatoes and learnt about the different conditions required to grow them. Towards the end of the term we all enjoyed a treat of fish and chips.

other experiments were watching the rise of ink through a celery stick, trying to push a balloon in a container of water, freezing a balloon and putting it through a ring, looking at what is attracted or repelled by a magnet, putting a balloon on a bed of pins etc. It was exciting and fun and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
