Room 21’s Week 9 Wrap Up  

Week 9’s highlight was obviously our Year 5/6 Prize Giving on Tuesday morning.  It was a wonderful celebration of a fantastic year.  Congratulations to all the children in Room 21 for a magnificent year, and a special congratulations to our class award winners:

I am very proud of our deserved winners.  You are all beautiful children, who work hard and display all the values of a Marina View School Student.  I hope you got extra scoops of ice-cream for dessert on Tuesday night!  J 

We presented our Innovative games this week.  The children learnt a lot about working together as a group and being responsible for producing a quality product.  It was neat to see the children come up with clever ideas for games and trial them, and then make adaption’s if necessary.  They then produced a poster displaying all there is to know about their game and finally taught the class how to play.  Here the children learnt a lot about organising a group of learners, giving clear instructions and listening carefully!  Check out the photos below of the new teachers... 

How did you get on with the online wordle last week?  The answer was, ‘Scrambled Eggs’ (as in the letters of the word ‘Eggs’, were all scrambled up).  Did you manage to think outside the square and work it out? Thanks for giving us this one again, Caleb.  Can anyone else think of some interesting wordles for our webpage?  If you can, come and tell Mrs Whitehead and we’ll try and get it on the webpage before the end of the year.  Let’s see who can solve this week’s wordle.  Don’t forget the online wordle is worth 50 points for your group and a chance to go on the raffle board!
