Term 3 Highlights
Room 20 has certainly demonstrated DIVERSITY in Term 3!
Our positive attitude and special efforts have seen us shine in a wide variety of cool activities and challenges.
*Class Speeches (Jarod Goodwin’s brilliant speech was 3rd in the Yr 5/6 Final)
*School Cross Country (Luke Jorgensen was 1st in the Yr 6 Boys)
*School Talent Quest (Special congratulations to Netesh Sukha and Tobias Blaser for their winning comedy boxing bout!)*GATE French Programme.
*Awesome kicking skills at the AFL Coaching Workshops.
*Outstanding results in theAustralian English and Maths Competitions.
*Impressive personal mihis in our Te Reo Maori with Whaea Frances
*Awataha Marae Visit- Wow, what a special day!
*Winning a national NIE Matariki Art Competition (Congratulations to Kourtney Kerr, Sammie Marsh, Sherika Singh, Maddison-Paige Randell, Michael Latimer and Tre Lendorf)
*Organising a SPCA Cup Cake Stall (Special thanks to Dana Metcalfe, Ashlee Larsen and their amazing Mums)
Our International Day was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and share our learning from our ‘History of Aotearoa’ investigations.
Looking back has definitely helped us to appreciate what we have today as well as getting excited about what we can contribute to the future together.
