Kristin Broadhurst - Room 24 - Year 7
Term three has been filled with research and discussion. We have explored into our own families culture and those within our class. We have learnt that traditional practices mixed with modern methods can enhance who we are. A sense of belonging is important to us, and finding out where we have come from (historically) and where we live now, helps with our personal belong.
Term four will be busy, with careers of all sorts being investigated. Then with an entrepreneurial focus, the students will be setting up their own business, developing a product, testing the market and making changes to meet that market. Students with time management and a commitment to their customers will achieve a successful outcome. All profits made from the final market day will be donated to a charity of their choice.
